About the Role
This is a meaningful opportunity to positively impact the lives of students with complex learning needs, including autism, communication challenges, and physical disabilities. You’ll work alongside teachers and therapists to support pupils in their daily routines—both in the classroom and during wider school activities.
Key Responsibilities
Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with special educational needs (SEN)
Assist in delivering personalised learning programmes
Support students with personal care requirements (including toileting and feeding)
Promote independence and encourage positive behaviour
Collaborate effectively with teachers, therapists, and families to ensure the best outcomes for each pupil
Requirements
Experience supporting children or young people with SEN (in an educational, care, or support setting)
Confidence and comfort in providing personal care
A patient, compassionate, and resilient attitude when working with vulnerable students
Enhanced Child-Only DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
Full-time availability, Monday to Friday, during term time

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
