Job Description
A top-ranked international firm is looking to hire a Managing Senior Associate into its growing private funds team in London.
The team advises both fund managers and institutional investors across a broad range of private capital matters, with work spanning infrastructure, sustainability/impact, energy, debt and secondaries. The role offers a much wider spread of exposure than many of the more siloed private funds platforms currently in the market, alongside genuine responsibility at senior level.
This opportunity is likely to appeal to someone looking to continue doing sophisticated private capital funds work, but within a leaner team where there is more scope to lead matters, build relationships and play a visible role in the growth of the practice long term.
Role Overview:
* Advising on private capital funds across the full fund lifecycle
* Acting for both fund managers and institutional investors
* Leading investor negotiations and side letter processes
* Significant exposure to infrastructure, impact, energy, debt and continuation vehicle work
* Managing transactions and supporting junior lawyers within the team
* Opportunity to take on a genuine leadership role within a growing practice
Requirements:
* 7+ PQE with strong private capital/private markets funds experience
* Background gained within a leading UK, US or international firm
* Ability to independently manage matters and client relationships
* Commercial, confident and capable of operating with minimal supervision
Confidential discussions welcome.
