Day to Day Primary Supply Teacher
Your new school:
An opportunity has arisen for a Qualified Teacher to work in Primary Schools within the Welsh Valleys.
If successful, you will be working with teams of dedicated staff who aim to develop and nurture creative working relationships with their colleagues and pupils.
Your new role:
You will be supporting a variety of classes and responsible for full-time teaching responsibilities, including preparation for a Primary School primary class between 20 and 30 pupils. Your duties will include and are not limited to:
• Creating lesson plans.
• Establishing and maintaining a safe, interactive, and engaging learning environment for the pupils.
• Demonstrating tasks, assigning, and encouraging participation.
The role is on a supply basis. Having your own transport is preferable, but not essential.
What you’ll need to succeed:
You will need to be a qualified teacher holding a valid QTS with a passion for creating a safe and welcoming environment for children to succeed. Some key attributes required will be for you to be enthusiastic, respectful, dedicated, empathetic and have a caring persona. Additional relevant skills include being reliable and providing a calm response whilst in the classroom.
You must have experience with children across each of the key stages.
You will need previous experience of working with children aged 3-11 within the past 2 years. You will hold an enhanced DBS check or be willing to undertake a new one.
