We’re seeking an experienced Technical Manager to join their growing team and play a key role in driving technical standards, overseeing design coordination, and ensuring smooth project delivery. This role offers a salary of £75,000 - £80,000 + Car Allowance, and is based in St Albans.

Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the technical function across residential projects, supporting both design and site teams.
* Oversee all technical aspects of developments from land acquisition through to site completion.
* Review and coordinate technical drawings, specifications, and design information to ensure compliance and accuracy.
* Work closely with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to resolve technical issues and drive effective solutions.
* Ensure projects adhere to building regulations, company policies, and NHBC standards.
* Provide ongoing technical support and advice to site teams during construction phases.
* Act as a key link between project teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
About You
* Previous experience as a Technical Manager, Design Manager, or similar within the housebuilding sector.
* Strong knowledge of residential construction, building regulations, and NHBC standards.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive, solution-focused approach.
* Strong leadership and communication skills, able to build positive relationships with consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
* Highly organised with an eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
* Full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle (site visits required).
