An established organisation in Sherborne, Dorset is seeking an experienced senior finance professional to join on an initial 8-month contract, with the possibility of becoming permanent.
This is a high-impact role requiring both strategic leadership and hands-on delivery, with responsibility for year-end reporting, management accounts, operational finance, VAT review activity and finance process improvements.
Reporting to the Group Finance Director, you will ensure continuity across core finance operations while acting as the senior point of contact for auditors and external advisers.
Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare, review and present termly management accounts with insightful analysis and variance commentary.
2. Lead day-to-day finance operations, maintaining strong financial controls and reporting disciplines.
3. Act as senior escalation point for complex financial or accounting matters.
