Position Overview:
We are on the lookout for an Audit Senior to join our clients growing team. This role offers a high level of responsibility with the opportunity to work largely unsupervised, while having all work reviewed by a manager. Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
* Plan, evaluate, and complete work schedules in line with the firm’s audit procedures.
* Prepare financial statements from client source records, with supporting schedules for manager review.
* Undertake regular bookkeeping for clients, including the preparation of VAT returns and management accounts.
* Participate in planning work for various assignments.
* Guide and advise trainee and junior staff, delegate tasks where necessary, and suggest work for other team members.
* Chase outstanding queries with clients and manage the progress of assignments.
* Take responsibility for certain assignments, coordinating various services and planning internal reviews.
* Travel to clients’ premises for meetings or other work, including overnight stays as needed. Some overtime may be required.
Skills and Experience Required:
* Proven experience in a similar role.
* ACA/ACCA qualified or studying.
* Passionate about providing high-quality service.
* Friendly and clear communicator with colleagues and clients.
