About the Role
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will take ownership of the day-to-day running of finance function, playing a key role in shaping the financial health and strategic direction of the business. This is a hands-on leadership role that will see you manage and develop a small, dedicated finance team, while driving improvements in financial processes and controls.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee all aspects of financial management, including reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow.
* Manage compliance for Tax, VAT, and statutory requirements.
* Lead the annual audit process and maintain strong internal controls.
* Streamline financial systems and processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
* Collaborate closely with other departments, providing financial insights to support operational decisions.
What We\'re Looking For
* A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
* A strong background in manufacturing or a related sector.
* A hands-on leader who enjoys collaborating cross-functionally.
* Experience managing or mentoring a team is highly desirable.
