Overview:
Our client who are a in the manufacturing industry are currently seeking a Buyer to join their team to work closely with suppliers for procurement and internal teams for delivery materials on time.

Role & Responsibilities:
* Reading technical drawings and calculating materials needed for projects
* Attend supplier meetings
* Manage supplier relationships
* Source new suppliers to work with
* Liaise with project managers and manufacturing team
* Specify best materials for the project
Essential Skills & Experience:
* 3+ years working in a similar buyer position
* Experience buying materials including plastics, timbers and metals
* Good negotiating skills
* Ability to read and understand technical drawings
* Team player
