Primary Teaching Assistants Required
Zen Educate is currently seeking primary teaching assistants to work in various primary schools across Gloucester. These roles can be full-time or part-time, suitable for long-term commitments, with flexible working options available to suit your needs. Working hours are from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, during term time only.
The primary responsibilities include supporting students with additional learning needs on a 1:1 basis, with potential opportunities to assist in small group settings.
Ideal candidates will have experience working with special needs, such as autism, ADHD, or mental health challenges. This experience can be from previous school roles or alternative child-support work. Flexibility across different age groups and school requirements is essential.
A successful primary teaching assistant is reliable, consistent, and communicates effectively with students and staff. You should be able to follow instructions from teachers and adhere to individual education plans. Resilience, the ability to handle behavioral challenges, and a nurturing attitude are crucial to support students' learning and development.
