As a newly qualified nurse at HC-One, you will be supported to grow in your career through our Gold Standard Nursing Preceptorship Programme. This programme helps you build on your skills while practicing in a nurse-led environment. You will make a difference to our residents during a vulnerable time in their lives, guiding and supporting them through life-changing decisions, which is both humbling and rewarding.
You must be a Registered Nurse with a valid Pin number and committed to the standards of practice set by the NMC. A passion for mentoring, sharing knowledge, and supporting students as a practice supervisor and assessor is essential. Effective communication skills, professionalism, and a person-centred approach to care are required. Safeguarding training relevant to your role is mandatory, along with the ability to recognize and report signs of abuse, harm, or neglect.
At HC-One, kindness is a core value. We believe caring for people means caring about what matters most to them, supporting them to live their best lives. We foster five key qualities: curiosity, compassion, creativity, courage, and dependability. Our inclusive workplace values diversity, respects all individuals, and encourages authentic self-expression.
We are advancing our digital care planning technology to streamline care and improve outcomes. We support colleagues’ personal and professional development with clear career pathways, continuous training, and postgraduate opportunities. HC-One is the only UK care home provider offering a Gold Standard Nursing Preceptorship Programme, aligned with the NHS Gold Standard Framework, providing structured learning with experienced nurses to build your confidence and competence.
Please note: We are only accepting applications from newly qualified nurses who already have the right to work in the UK. We cannot offer sponsorship or consider applicants on a time-limited visa.
