Our stunning new home Bridgewater Manor, a purpose-built care home facility in the popular location of Worsley Village, Salford. The home is registered to provide care to 71 residents who have a variety of care needs including residential and nursing.The home meets all CQC requirements and provides the highest of safety, comfort and care to residents. The home reflects the New Care vision of providing the highest standards of safety, comfort and care. We invest in the latest technology, and offer a purposeful programme of daily activity and gentle exercise to enhance the experience, care and wellbeing of our residents. All team members are hand selected for their warmth and passion, they have a full induction and ongoing training from our in house trainers in conjunction with the New Care Academy. The home is rated GOOD in all domains by CQC. New Care has had a 0 agency usage for over 3 years as we employ a permanent staff team to ensure continuity of care to residents from staff that know them and that residents know and trust. Across New Care all of our staff are paid national living wage or above.
We are seeking to appoint a kind, caring and motivated Head of Hospitality to join our team. To be responsible for organising the Hospitality Assistants and Care Assistants to enable the dining experience for our residents to be smooth and efficient at all times. You are responsible for dining room preparation, cleanliness and set up, for ensuring that the meals are served in a timely, presentable and in a correct manner. This role is an exciting role leading a team of Hospitality Assistants including rotas, training, supervisions. We have a 40 hour contract available with an excellent hourly rate of £12.44! Shift times are 0800-1900, with alternate weekend working.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Ensure there is a provision of high standard of hospitality service.
2. Support and assist visitors.
3. Inform the Chef of any individual requirements of residents.
4. Following cleaning schedules and procedures, as per company HACCP.
5. To ensure that all training given is adhered to.
6. Ensure records and reports are properly written up e.g. cleaning schedules, work sheets, fridge temperatures and that all HACCP paperwork is completed.
7. Manage, allocate duties and supervise the hospitality team ensuring a quality delivery of care for the duration of the shift.
8. Coach staff and participate in ongoing development of staff.
9. Take responsible for promoting safeguarding the welfare of adults that the post holder is responsible for or comes into contact with.
Skills and experience required:
10. Dining or Restaurant Supervisor experience is essential.
11. Previous experience working in a care setting is desirable.
12. Ability to effectively communicate with other members of the team is essential.
13. Participation in activities organised in the Home is essential.
