Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the development of children in their early years. You will play a crucial role in supporting children's learning and growth, ensuring they feel safe, valued, and engaged.


Responsibilities

* Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programmes that promote children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.
* Create a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for children to learn and play.
* Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to track their development.
* Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience within the nursery setting.
* Lead activities that encourage creativity, exploration, and learning through play.
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively while promoting positive interactions among children.
* Stay updated on best practices in early childhood education and participate in professional development opportunities.


Skills

* Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
* Experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is essential.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* Ability to drive initiatives that support children's learning and development.
* Leadership qualities to inspire and guide other staff members.
* Strong organisational skills to manage daily activities efficiently.
* A nurturing attitude towards childcare, ensuring each child feels valued and respected.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
