Job Description A leading international organisation in product testing and accreditation is seeking a Technologist to join their Quality Services team. This role combines technical auditing, calibration, and project management for a diverse, global client base. You will deliver laboratory audits and calibration services in line with ISO standards, ensuring compliance and quality across a variety of laboratories worldwide. This position involves frequent travel — UK visits and overseas assignments of up to three weeks in destinations such as the USA, Brazil, Vietnam, and India. All travel arrangements and expenses are covered, and full training in auditing and calibration processes will be provided. Key Responsibilities Calibrate laboratory and production testing equipment to customer specifications Conduct audits of laboratories against internal and client standards Assess laboratory staff in testing processes and ensure compliance Produce accurate audit reports and calibration certificates within deadlines Manage multiple client projects, ensuring all requirements are met Coordinate logistics for overseas travel, including visas, accommodation, and transport Collaborate with colleagues and internal departments to ensure smooth project delivery Promote the organisation’s services and maintain excellent client relationships Essential Requirements Willingness and ability to travel regularly (up to 20 weeks per year) Strong technical knowledge and aptitude, with a willingness to learn new skills Excellent time management and organisational skills Ability to work independently and within a team environment Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Valid UK driving licence and passport Desirable Skills Experience in auditing or calibration ISO 9001 or ISO 17025 auditing qualification Knowledge of laboratory quality systems and testing methods Mechanical or practical skills relevant to calibration or lab environments Experience with international business travel Additional languages (e.g., Chinese, Spanish, Vietnamese, Thai) Benefits 25–30 days annual leave (service dependent) Life assurance and income protection Group personal pension plan Free parking and flexible working hours Additional financial compensation for weekend travel during overseas trips.
