Customer Marketing Data Executive – 12m FTC
We’re looking for a Customer Marketing Data Executive to join our Brand Marketing Team at Betfair, part of Flutter UK & Ireland, on a 12m Fixed‑term contract. Reporting to the CM Data Manager, this role delivers the data requirements for all Betfair’s CM campaigns, providing best‑in‑class customer experience across multimedia channels.
What You’ll Be Working On
* Planning, delivery and execution of data/targeting for multi‑channel customer marketing campaigns based on specific customer segmentation, campaign or customer behaviours.
* Working closely with the Data Manager to ensure effective and timely end‑to‑end operational delivery of CM programmes for all campaigns across email, SMS, push and web messaging.
* Performing and adhering to QC processes to ensure accurate and compliant customer journeys.
* Delivering customer‑centric automated and triggered campaign programmes for various customer segments and life stages, providing project and stakeholder management where necessary.
* Proactively monitoring daily feeds, marketing tool performance and CM campaign effectiveness, identifying enhancements and opportunities for automation and scale, coordinating teams to implement.
* Assisting with the implementation of segmentation models to enable more targeted CM campaigns.
* Governance of the Campaign Management platform: monitoring operational CM systems and optimising performance, escalating issues with development teams and delivering fast and effective results.
* Establishing best practices for exceptional deliverability of email, SMS and push across multiple IPs and resolving any delivery issues. Working closely with Brand teams to ensure consistency of tone, messaging and visual identity.
How You’ll Play To Win
* Understanding of data management and CM best practice within multi‑channel marketing (workflow optimisations, data formatting, typologies, throughput monitoring, IP reputation protection, import alerts, etc).
* Understanding database architecture, ETL set‑up and data‑flows; able to work with raw data to analyse campaigns and draw useful conclusions.
* Ability to understand the implementation of sophisticated BI models, e.g., customer segmentation.
* Exceptional project and time management – highly organised, able to juggle multiple tasks, teams or problems simultaneously.
* Excellent at working under pressure and to tight deadlines whilst staying calm, thinking clearly and executing to a high standard with meticulous attention to detail.
* Competent in SQL and Microsoft Excel.
