Key Responsibilities
As Residential Care Home Manager, you will be responsible for:
Overall day-to-day management of the residential care home
Ensuring compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding, and care standards
Leading, motivating, and developing a multidisciplinary care team
Maintaining high standards of person-centred care and resident wellbeing
Managing budgets, occupancy levels, and cost control
Recruiting, training, and retaining staff
Building strong relationships with residents, families, and external professionals
Preparing for and leading CQC inspections
Implementing continuous improvement and quality assurance processes
Essential Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
Proven experience as a Registered Manager or Residential Care Home Manager
Strong knowledge of CQC standards and legislation
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
A passion for delivering high-quality residential care
The ability to manage compliance, staffing, and performance effectively
