ROLE OVERVIEW
The Retouch Manager oversees the retouching and post-production process to ensure that all imagery meets brand standards, deadlines, and creative direction. This role manages a team of retouchers, coordinates with photographers, art directors, and producers, and maintains quality control across all visual assets
Please note: due to the nature of our business, this role is fully office-based.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Working closely with the Art Director to set and enforce brand style guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with the photography and sample teams to maintain consistency and high standards across all assets.
- Assign workloads, set priorities, and oversee the day-to-day operations of the retouch team.
- Flagging corrections to either studio or retouch, proactively ensuring resolution.
- Manage the retouch resources, including freelancer schedules and external vendors as needed.
- As required, retouch on campaign and e-commerce assets, maintaining brand consistency and meeting project specifications.
- Ensure prioritised assets are fast-tracked through the process in line with customer expectations
- Review and approve all final image assets.
- Support on image selection and re-selection as required.
- Lead on the cleardown of studio stored images to ensure optimum efficiency
SKILLS
- Retouching skills coupled with a strong understanding of retouch processes, colour correction and the importance of consistency
- Strong knowledge and understanding of retouching workflows.
- Ability to organise and prioritise workload, multitask using effective time management skills.
- Good understanding of Capture One Pro, Photoshop & Bridge.
- Experience of Digital Asset Management and workflow systems, i.e. Fluid 4

- Good understanding of Excel.
- Experience of working in a studio environment or on set
