37 hours per week (part time, term time only plus inset days and paid for 44.85 weeks) We have an exciting opportunity for a part time, temporary Cover Supervisor, to supervise and support students who are engaged in pre-prepared lessons. This is a non-teaching post and recent experience as a Teaching Assistant or similar post within an educational establishment would be desirable. A willingness to undertake training and relevant study would also be an advantage. Primarily the post is based in a classroom or other learning environment. This check will be part of a safeguarding check, and the search will purely be based on whether an individual is suitable to work with children. All aspects of social media and internet searches will be conducted. As care must be taken to avoid unconscious bias and any risk of discrimination, a person who will not on the appointment panel will conduct the searches and will only share information if and when findings are relevant and of concern.
