Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Supervisor to oversee our bar operations and ensure an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality, with a focus on leadership and team management. Duties
* Supervise daily bar operations, ensuring efficient service and adherence to safety standards.
* Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.
* Lead and train bar staff, fostering a positive team environment while enhancing their skills in serving and hospitality.
* Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
* Develop creative cocktail menus and coordinate with the culinary team on food production that complements beverage offerings.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
* Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving to exceed guest expectations.
* Collaborate with management on promotional events and marketing strategies to increase bar revenue.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a bar or restaurant management role, with supervisory experience preferred.
* Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
* Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is essential.
* Previous experience in hospitality or hotel environments is advantageous.
* Barista experience is a plus, along with an understanding of various beverage types.
