I'm recruiting on behalf of a well-established UK manufacturer, part of a £160m+ turnover group employing 5,000 people globally. Operating since 1968 and now part of a larger industrial group, the business manufactures lifting equipment for the construction sector and continues to invest in its Essex site.
This is a site-based Maintenance Engineer role supporting production machinery, including traditional lathes and legacy equipment, plus some basic robotics (specialist PLC support brought in when required). You'll join a team of 3 engineers and a manager, working rotating shifts:
Earlies: 6:00-15:30 (Mon-Thurs), 6:00-14:30 (Fri)
Lates: 13:00-22:00 (Mon-Thurs), 12:00-20:00 (Fri)
No weekend work however overtime available if wanted.
Requirements:
Maintenance experience within manufacturing
Electrically biased or genuinely multi-skilled
Formal engineering qualification
Strong character and team fit
Full right to work in the UK (no sponsorship)
Package:
Salary up to £45,000
25 days holiday + Bank Holidays
Overtime: 1.3x (Mon-Fri), 1.5x (Sat), 2x (Sun)
