As a key member of the Roads and Transportation Service, you will assist in delivering vital functions of the service.
You will report directly to the Senior Engineer - Road Maintenance and be responsible for tasks such as: designing and implementing works; managing road assets; conducting safety inspections; processing temporary traffic regulation orders; and other network management functions.
Applicants should possess an HNC or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. Additionally, experience with office software, specialist software such as AutoCAD and GIS, and a full driving licence are required.
Registration with the Engineering Council at Engineering Technician level or above, experience in roads and transportation, familiarity with local government procedures, and knowledge of Health and Safety legislation are desirable but not essential.
