Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager and working a continental shift, you will be required to work as an integral part of the team and be able to demonstrate a good hands-on approach.
Key tasks & Activities
1. Day to day maintenance of all plant equipment on site
2. Maintaining PPM schedules, work procedures and involvement in continuous improvement activities
3. Reactive and pro-active maintenance
4. Utilising our Enterprise Resource Software (SAP) to keep up to date machine works history, spare parts consumption and PPM planning.
5. Liaising with Team Leaders and Management to effectively organise reactive/pro-active and PPM schedules to cause minimal disruption to site operations
Who we are looking for…
6. Electrically biased with strong Mechanical skills or;
7. Mechanical biased with electrical skills (qualifications)
8. Good logical thought process in regards to fault diagnosis and rectification
9. Knowledge of Siemens PLC’s and Inverter drives would be advantageous.
10. Experience of Blow Moulding and Packaging machines would be advantageous
11. Good understanding of Health & Safety
12. Excellent Team skills
13. Good communication, flexibility and reliability are essential for this position
