There is a vacancy in the North Team for a full time School Nurse to work with an Integrated 0-19 Team including school nurses and health visitors.
Working with schools, families and the wider community to improve the health of school-aged children identifying the more vulnerable and developing clear referral pathways so that all children and young people can reach their full potential.

You will work closely with the, education and social care to provide services in response to identified need, both public health and safeguarding. whilst working in partnership with St Helens Local Authority to take the local children's agenda forward.
School Nursing is a fast paced, dynamic and challenging service, and as a School Nurse with us you will be given opportunity to demonstrate leadership whilst working within the public health, health promotion and safeguarding domains.
You should be well organised, have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively with children and young people both in school and within other education provider settings. You must be committed to working effectively both within a team and independently. An in depth knowledge of the current trends and developments within school nursing and the health agenda relating to children's services is essential.

Salary Expectations
The Trust pays staff in line with national NHS Terms and Conditions. Relevant experience may be considered when salary offers are made. For all part-time positions, salaries are pro‑rata.
