An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Family Group Coordinator post in South East Kent.
The successful candidate will work with families and their networks to make safe plans for their children. The team covers South East Kent (Dover, Folkestone, Ashford, Thanet, Canterbury). Work is completed where the family lives and is family-led. Direct work with families and children is an advantage.
Applicants will be fully trained and supported in learning the role.
Candidates are required to have NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant field such as Social Work, teaching, mediation, youth work, etc. (If relying on a Social Work qualification, you will be required to be registered with Social Work England) and have varied experience working with children and families at times of distress and conflict. Ability to travel across a wide geographical area in a timely and flexible manner at various times of the day is essential.
