Simply Education are currently looking for a Primary Teacher to join our clients school in the Surrey area. This school supports pupils aged 6-11 with communication difficulties linked to Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). You will be delivering high quality teaching and learning. Although the school is a primary school, many of the students are working at least 2 academic years behind their chronological age. Knowledge of teaching KS1 and early KS2 is desirable. Key Duties: Deliver and develop curriculum plans that meet student's educational, physical, and social needs. Collaborate effectively within a multi-disciplinary team. Set, monitor, and review personalised learning targets. Assess, track, and report student progress to stakeholders in line with school policies. Create structured, engaging lessons with clear objectives and challenge. Contribute to reviews of Statements, EHC plans, PEPs, and LAC meetings. Stay informed on autism-related developments to support effective teaching. Work positively and non-confrontational to meet individual needs. Skills and Qualifications: QTS is essential Ability to teach across a range of subjects.
