THE ROLE
Swansea City are looking to appoint a newSenior Data & Insights Manager, it's a newly created role which will playan integral part in the club's transition into a global brand. With newinvestment from high profile individuals like Snoop Dogg and Luka Modric,they're looking to take the club's commercial presence to the next level.
You'll be facilitating data-informed decisionmaking and equipping members of the sales team with the data and insightsrequired to bring on new partnerships. This role will play an important part indeveloping business processes and ensuing an agile approach to changing markettrends and behaviours. A key focus of the role will be in developing the club’sbrand partnership offering to deliver long term revenue growth.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
* Support the Club’s partnership sales team with theidentification and prospecting of new partners, advising on relevant industrysectors and the latest market trends
* Support the sales team in the pitching process with relevantdata and insights to convince brands of the merit in partnering with the Club
* Collate the most relevant data points and insights to bestposition the club in the context of each brand discussion
* Constantly strive to enhance and develop the commercialdepartment’s use of data and analytics to support performance and revenuegrowth
* Harness zero and first party data to support brandobjectives and KPIs to deliver ROI
* Adopt AI to build global brand prospecting lists for targetoutreach, sourcing accurate contact info and providing key data points toincrease response rate
* Review and share latest industry trends and sector insightswith commercial team
* Support partner delivery team with data and insights forquarterly partner reporting and ad hoc requests to maximise partnershipperformance and ensure first class client service
* Ensure collaboration and sharing of information acrossdepartments to ensure a unified approach and collective responsibility forachieving growth targets
* Overall responsibility for management of CRM system and toensure habitual use by sales team
* Supporting various commercial development projects withrelevant data and insights to demonstrate business case and opportunity
* Analyse new commercial growth opportunities through adata-first approach
* Manage relationships with third party providers such asBlinkfire, Relo, Two Circles, SIQ, Salesforce and EFL

PERSONSPECIFICATION
· Highly curious and analytical with passion for solvingproblems and identifying trends in data
· Excellent understanding of the commercial landscape insports and entertainment
· Successful track record of identifying and analysing newbrand prospects which have led to new partnerships
· Commercially minded with demonstrable ability to identifyhow a brand and its objectives align with the Club’s partnership offering
· Creative mindset with ability to think laterally to solveproblems and find solutions through data
