Reporting to the Deputy Group General Counsel, you’ll lead strategic initiatives that enhance operational excellence, financial discipline, and technology enablement. What you’ll be doing:
1. Acting as a strategic advisor to senior legal leadership
2. Designing and delivering a legal operations strategy aligned to business priorities
3. Overseeing legal panel and vendor management to ensure value and efficiency
4. Leading the implementation and optimisation of legal technology platforms
5. Managing internal communications and departmental events
6. Developing talent and resource strategies, including paralegal deployment
7. Enhancing knowledge, document and records management across the division
8. Driving financial oversight and reporting to support cost-effective legal services
Qualifications - Who we’re looking for:
* Demonstrated experience in legal operations within a corporate or law firm setting
* Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage complex projects
* Strong financial acumen with experience in budget oversight and spend analysis
* Expertise in legal technology and process improvement
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* A collaborative leadership style with a focus on team development
* Strategic thinking with a data-driven approach to decision-making
* A degree in law, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
