Your impact
Jacobs has secured multiple multi-year contracts and projects with leading clients in Ireland, the UK, and across the globe. We currently have opportunities for engineers of all disciplines to join our Water team in Ireland to deliver on these fantastic opportunities. Successful candidates will join a team of over 150 professionals in Ireland, working on high-profile projects and becoming part of a world-leading company with excellent career prospects.
About The Water Team
Our Water team in Ireland, with offices in Dublin, Cork, and Belfast, boasts an extensive portfolio working on high-profile, challenging projects, providing multidisciplinary solutions in water, wastewater, environment, and flood management. From feasibility studies and planning to design, construction management, and operations and maintenance, we bring together the talent and expertise necessary to deliver success.
Successful candidates will have the opportunity to demonstrate and enhance their skills while working on solutions for Ireland’s future water infrastructure. They will be involved in projects ranging from strategic water resource planning to the delivery of individual projects and programs, including solutions for new and upgraded water and wastewater assets.
You will work within multidisciplinary teams engaging with civil, mechanical, electrical, environmental, and communication specialists. Candidates with relevant skills but without water sector experience will also be considered.

Here's what you'll need
* Experience in water or wastewater engineering industry
* Minimum of an accredited Honours STEM Degree (NFQ Level 8) and working towards Chartership or equivalent
* Proven ability to work as part of a team
* Demonstrable technical or design skills
* Experience of, or ability to demonstrate, mentoring or supporting junior staff
* Interest in future technologies and knowledge about industry challenges, including data, carbon, and sustainability
* Holistic understanding of multi-disciplinary project facets
* Understanding of Project Management principles, including scheduling, budgeting, and contracts
