We are seeking a Level 3 qualified Electrician to join our team at HMP Erlestoke, a category C adult male prison. Location: HM Prison Erlestoke, Erlestoke House, Erlestoke, Devizes SN10 5TU. Salary: £39,333.37 per annum, plus overtime payments after 6 months. Contract: Permanent, Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week.

We are a Ministry Of Justice business and provide critical, time-bound services to HMPPS. We are seeking an Electrician with a combination of the following qualifications and experience.
Responsibilities
Operate as part of the facilities maintenance team to support the safe and secure operation of HMP Erlestoke. Collaborate with trades to ensure electrical systems are maintained, reliable, and in compliance with relevant standards. Contribute to a proactive maintenance culture through planned preventive maintenance and timely response to electrical issues.
Qualifications
* Two years’ experience working in a role as an electrician
* Experience working on commercial or industrial electrical systems
* Good working knowledge of planned preventive maintenance operations
* Electrician qualified to C&G 2367 or 2357 (Electrical Installation) and NVQ level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent
* Certificate in BS7671 2018 (18th edition)
* Good Health & Safety knowledge
* Excellent organisational, time management and people skills
