Senior Geotechnical Engineer
Reference: BY1913Location: DerbySalary: £38,000 - £42,000
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join a thriving team of ground investigation engineers at a head office located in Derby. As a successful candidate, you will play a critical role in the design, supervision, and management of site investigations, interpretative reporting, and mentorship of team members. Key Responsibilities of the Senior Geotechnical Engineer role:
* Leading the design, supervision, and management of site investigations
* Preparation of interpretative reports and earthworks specifications
* Mentoring and managing team members
* Assisting in the collation of all project Health & Safety Documentation
Qualifications / Experience / Skills required to be considered for the Senior Geotechnical Engineer role:
* A degree in one of the Earth Sciences, ideally with an MSc in Geotechnical Engineering, Engineering Geology or similar
* Hands-on experience in a ground investigation role within the UK
* Proficiency in geotechnical investigations, analysis, and design
* Membership in the Geological Society (or similar) and working towards chartered status
* Full UK Driving License is essential
* Live in or near to Derby
* Full right to work in the UK
