We have a new opportunity for a Head of Tendering and Fundraising to join us and play a vital role in this mission.

Location: Cardiff with Hybrid working
Hours: 37 Hours
Contract: Permanent

What you’ll be doing
You’ll lead efforts in securing financial resources to support our mission. Your responsibilities include developing and delivering high-quality tenders, bids, and grant applications aligned with our values and strategic goals. You will shape and implement tendering and fundraising strategies, manage submissions from start to finish, and collaborate across departments to maximize funding opportunities.
To succeed, you should be a confident communicator and experienced bid writer, preferably with a background in social care or a similar sector. You should have the strategic ability to identify opportunities, attention to detail to meet submission requirements, and interpersonal skills to work with stakeholders at all levels. As part of our operational leadership team, you will help shape the culture of Cartrefi, modeling our values in all you do. A driving license and willingness to attend meetings across Wales are essential.
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
* Experience of writing successful tenders for social care contracts
* Proven ability to write compelling grant applications and manage the end-to-end tender process
* Confidence in using digital tendering platforms such as eTender Wales
* Strong communication skills to engage people at all levels
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities
* Strong analytical skills to evaluate opportunities and produce detailed reports
