System Security Consultant

What You’ll Be Doing:
* Supporting the ongoing security and resilience of internal systems and infrastructure
* Conducting risk assessments in line with recognised frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27005
* Developing, reviewing, and maintaining security policies, procedures, and documentation
* Working closely with technical and operational teams to embed security best practices across projects
* Supporting compliance activities and producing evidence to meet regulatory and MOD requirements
* Managing security risks and changes across cloud, endpoint, and infrastructure environments
* Contributing to secure delivery practices within Agile, DevSecOps, and CI/CD environments
* Identifying opportunities to strengthen operational security and improve business continuity
Main Skills Needed:
* Strong background in information security, risk management, and compliance
* Experience working with Azure, Microsoft 365, Intune, JAMF, Windows, macOS, and Kubernetes
* Knowledge of security frameworks, governance, and secure operational processes
* Understanding of Agile delivery, DevSecOps principles, and secure change management
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams
* Analytical approach with strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
* Previous experience within defence, national security, or other regulated environments would be highly beneficial
* Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or similar are advantageous
