About Our Nursery
Little Green Rascals Minster Yard is a truly unique nursery. Our goal is to create a home-from-home environment with natural, locally sourced and organic products whenever possible, and to avoid added nasties in food or skincare. Our toys and resources are made from natural and sustainable materials, and our electricity comes from an ethical supplier. We are located in York city centre, with entrances on The Queen’s Path next to the Minster and on Deangate. We have five rooms—Wiggly Worms, Dancing Dragonflies, Little Ladybirds, Cheeky Hens, and Preschool—and our own Forest School area. We care for up to 125 children per day aged 0–4 years. There is no on-site parking, but there are good public transport options and nearby parking; the city centre location is about an 8-minute walk from York train station. There is a bike store for cycling enthusiasts. Perks include a birthday day off each year, Perkbox, and a veg box, among others. We look forward to welcoming you to Minster Yard!
