Cleaning Technician
Ashton under Lyme – Mainly covering the Manchester area and the North West region
£26,436 per year
40 hours per week
We have an opportunity for a Cleaning Technician to join our North Estate Services Team. This will involve both lone working and working as part of a team. You will be responsible for providing a quality cleaning service that meets customer and organisational needs
The role sits within Property Services who are responsible for delivering a high quality and cost-effective property repairs, compliance and installation and estate services across the UK to mainly internal clients and additionally a small number of external clients. It is also responsible for operational Health and Safety of the service, including fire safety and delivering effective group wide asset management and reinvestment programmes.
The role of Cleaning Technician will include:
* Carry out communal cleaning across all properties within the area, such as offices and communal spaces.
* General cleaning including, hoovering, mopping, high/low dusting, cleaning skirting boards etc.
* Assist customers and respond positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery to meet their expectations in accordance with service standards
* Provide accurate and timely information on progress and advice that is easily understood by the customer and ensure accurate daily work records are completed
* Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and continue to be suitable for required tasks
Skills and experiences:
* British Institute Certificate in cleaning services or willing to work towards
* Working knowledge and experience of undertaking general cleaning duties
* Some experience of working to deadlines and prioritising work loads
* Some practical experience in operating cleaning machinery
* This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
