Assistant Finance Analyst Italian Speaking (6 month FTC)

To support compliance with upcoming Italian legislation effective January 2025, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and traceability of Out-of-Pocket (OOP) employee expense claims.
What you'll do:
* Manually review and validate employee OOP expense claims submitted via SAP Concur.
* Ensure each claim meets Italian legal requirements for traceability and documentation.
* Investigate anomalies or inconsistencies in claims and liaise with employees for clarification.
* Respond to queries related to expense submissions and compliance requirements.
* Escalate potential non-compliant items or recurring issues to management.
* Support audit preparation and documentation, ensuring clean records are maintained.
* Contribute to the successful transition to AI automation by helping define patterns or anomalies.
* Ad-hoc project work, as and when required
What you'll bring:
* Fluency in Italian (written and spoken) - mandatory
* High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
* Experience with SAP Concur or similar expense management systems
* Prior experience in finance, compliance, or shared services operations preferred not essential
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently
* Ability to manage repetitive tasks while maintaining high accuracy
