The post holder will be responsible for thestrategic development and leadership of the service, seeking to continuouslydevelop, managing quality and standards of practice, including the implementation,management, monitoring and reviewing of the council’s delivery of assessmentand care management services and ensuring that the service delivers positiveoutcomes for service users/carers and is sustainable in its delivery.
It is an exciting time to join us in the Department. We have a strong Senior Leadership Team with a clear vision of embedding quality of practice across the Bradford District and a team who are committed to providing high quality person centred support. The In-House Domiciliary Service provides home support across the district of Bradford - on average we support 200 people who use the service at one time. There are currently five Residential Resource Centres across the district and we provide Care Support services in five Extra Care Schemes. Services are specialist in delivering Short Term Enablement Support for Adults experiencing complex health issues, either physically or mentally. We have a strong partnership with the Health Service, providing an enhanced service to Users in either avoiding hospital admission or facilitating earlier discharge from hospital.
You will have:
1. Experience in management and leadership roles.
2. A strong and unwavering commitment to adult social care practice that upholds and safeguards rights of Individuals.
3. Ability to support, develop and inspire others.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to make good decisions based on the information available, ensuring effective relationships with other professionals and social workers and their commitment to supporting service users.
