We’re seeking a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Marketing Assistant to join our marketing team. Your role will involve driving growth, engagement, and innovation across our social media platforms, supporting various beauty and personal care brands.
A genuine passion for beauty is essential, along with confidence in creating bold, attention-grabbing content. A makeup artistry qualification or skill set is a plus, as producing standout beauty content is a key part of this role.
You’ll be immersed in social media, acting as the brand voice, and bringing new, trend-led ideas to the team. Under the guidance of the Marketing and Communications Manager, you'll focus on content creation, community management, and influencer relations.
This fast-paced role requires excellent organization, multitasking abilities, and a proactive, positive attitude.
The role involves developing new social initiatives to meet KPIs, such as partnerships, competitions, and influencer collaborations.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist in managing all social media channels.
2. Plan, create, and schedule trend-led still and video content, adapting to each platform.
3. Confidently produce makeup-related content.
4. Manage community interactions, respond to comments/messages, and handle customer service queries.
5. Oversee the media room at HQ and plan monthly influencer content days.
6. Coordinate weekly gifting of PR boxes to influencers.
7. Reach out to other brands to establish social partnerships.
8. Coordinate with sales and product teams to promote launches and promotions.
9. Attend shoots and events to capture BTS content.
10. Support in reporting social and influencer activities.
11. Manage PR agency collaborations on campaigns and events.
12. Monitor PR coverage and communicate insights internally.
13. Build social trend reports on industry updates, competitors, and visual references.
14. Contribute to brand TikTok lives.
15. Handle admin tasks like influencer stock management and product deliveries.
16. Update marketing folders and drives regularly.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing preferred.
Previous marketing experience is a plus but passion for social media and the beauty industry is essential.
Experience with TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Canva, Word, Excel, Google Forms, and video editing platforms like CapCut is required.
Preferred Skills:
Understanding of social media channels, TikTok trends, creative content creation, photography, and editing skills. Adobe suite experience is a plus.
The Package:
Hybrid working (office-based 3 days a week in Liverpool, Aintree), flexible hours, and early finish Fridays.
