Salary: £33k-37k Basic dependent on experience + Pension, Healthcare and Profit Share
Hours: Full-Time Monday to Friday, mainly office-based with potential for occasional customer/prospect visits.

We provide a comprehensive stockholding and nationwide delivery service. We require a proactive account manager to join our tight-knit sales team based in Aldridge.
The Account Manager Role:
To provide a friendly, accurate and professional service always.
To perform detailed contract review and accurately interpret customer requirements.
To accurately enter sales orders into the ERP system.
To develop existing territory by improving revenue and profit generated.
To source and develop opportunities which result in new repeat business.
70/30 split between account management/business development.
To maintain accurate records within a CRM system.
To research new markets and compile lists of prospects.
To achieve KPIs as agreed with the managing director.
To support the sales effort in line with overall business objectives.
The Candidate:
Essential
Natural communicator, able to build rapport and create lasting customer relationships over the phone.
Strong numeracy with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Determined, persistent, positive and self-motivated.
Quick learner, logical thinker, well organised.
2 years of account management, ideally in a B2B role using CRM software.
Strong I.T. skills - Office 365 - Outlook/Excel/Word.
Desirable
Experience in engineering / construction / metals.
