Job Description
Holtec seeks qualified applicants for the position of Supply Chain Specialist in its Procurement department based at the Holtec Britain office in Bristol, UK. This department is responsible for procurement, sourcing, and supplier management on large infrastructure and capital equipment supply projects.
The candidate will lead the development and delivery of supply chain strategies and processes. This role is critical to the procurement of essential items from key suppliers, ensuring compliance with public procurement requirements and alignment with regulatory standards. The Supply Chain Specialist will liaise with engineering, quality, commercial, and PMO teams to ensure procurements meet project requirements. The candidate will also be responsible for supply chain mapping to identify gaps and enhance resilience.
The company uses Kinetics ERP software and several customized tools for procurement, supplier management, invoice processing, and accounts payable activities, for which the candidate will receive necessary training.
Minimum Technical Requirements:
* Degree in engineering, supply chain, or a related field
* Experience in developing procurement and contracting strategies and processes for projects under public procurement regulations
* Proficiency in managing supplier and subcontractor processes, including negotiation, approval, due diligence, and compliance monitoring
* Familiarity with managing subcontractor reporting cycles, including quarterly performance reviews
Desirable Experience/Qualifications: Experience with UK nuclear or regulated infrastructure supply chains, familiarity with ISO 20400 and asset information strategies, and a recognized professional procurement and/or supply chain qualification (e.g., CIPS, MCIPS).
