Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled, qualified and reliable Vehicle Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing and repairing a range of vehicles. This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with hand and power tools effectively. The Vehicle Technician will also provide excellent customer service, ensuring that all repairs meet the highest standards of quality. Own transport is essential due to location.
This job is full time (8am/5pm Monday - Friday 40 hours per week)

Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on vehicles, including but not limited to engine repairs, brake systems, and electrical components.
- Assemble and disassemble vehicle parts as necessary for repairs.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure vehicles are in optimal working condition.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various repair tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding repairs and maintenance needs.
- Assist in equipment repair as required, ensuring all machinery is functioning properly.
Requirements
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in vehicle repair preferred.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics related to vehicle systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing issues.
- A valid, clean driving licence is essential.

Pay: £24,242.31-£32,000.00 per year
