Position Details
* Hours: 35 hours per week, 8.30 am – 4.00 pm (not negotiable)
* Contract: Term time only, 44.46 weeks (paid pro rata/split over 52 weeks)
About Us
The SEaTSS Service in Redbridge is a large, vibrant SEND team supporting students aged 0-25 with SEND across the Local Authority. The team includes specialist advisory teachers, HLTAs, technicians, and more. Recently, the Medical Inclusion Service has become part of SEaTSS, focusing on providing high-quality educational support to our most vulnerable children and young people who cannot attend school.
Role Overview
We are seeking a fully qualified Art Therapist (BAAT qualified) to join our new Medical Inclusion Home Tuition Service. This role is child-focused, aiming to support children in reintegrating into school and ensuring their educational needs are met.
Candidate Profile
* Qualified Art Therapist with experience working with young people with SEMH, behavioural, or mental health needs
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Efficient and accountable record management
* Flexible, child-centered approach
