Job Overview
Summer Analysts will work closely with the investment team on sourcing, due diligence and executing investment opportunities. This is an opportunity for a highly ambitious and extraordinary candidate who has already developed strong financial, analytical, commercial and research skills through personal investing, academic work, and professional experience. Summer Analysts will have the opportunity to participate in all aspects of projects and be staffed on several assignments at one time. Due to the relatively small size of the professional staff, Summer Analysts assume integral roles on deal teams and will have the opportunity to participate in all aspects of the investment process from initiation to close.
Responsibilities
* Industry and thematic research and competitive analysis
* Financial analysis, valuation, and modelling
* Execution of transactions (including meeting and interacting with management teams as part of the due diligence process)
* Provide overall support to the investment team. Depending on the position, you may be required to obtain certain securities licenses if you are in a client‑facing role or if you are engaged in the following activities:
* Attending client meetings where you discuss Blackstone products and/or answer client questions
* Marketing Blackstone funds to new or existing clients
* Supervising or training securities‑licensed employees
* Structuring or creating Blackstone funds/products
* Advising on marketing plans prepared by a sales team or contributing to marketing materials

Qualifications
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* A desire to work in a team environment with dynamic roles
* A basic knowledge of accounting and finance

* Intellectual curiosity
* Good judgement
Program Eligibility
* Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or master’s student
* Anticipated graduation date: Summer 2027
