Role Overview: As a Facilities Manager, you will be based onsite and work alongside our Operational and Maintenance teams, providing support in maintaining the facility to a high standard and satisfying the compliance requirements of the facility. Your scope of work will be varied, encompassing both planned activities and reactive tasks. Key Responsibilities: Ensure maintenance schedules of plant assets are satisfied and records are up to date. Maintain a high standard of housekeeping of site grounds and structures. Manage and control site equipment such as two-way radios, personal gas monitors, respiratory protective equipment, staff lockers, and access control cards. Manage service contracts for domestic cleaning, P.P.E, pest control, and waste collections. Be responsible for Legionella, external surface water sampling, weather station and site meters inspections, and CDM. Manage visitor centre CCTV, ICO licence, fire system, security alarm system, and automatic access gates. Carry out reactive tasks as required and manage small projects outside of the site maintenance teams' scope. Ensure the integrity of building structures, handrails, open mesh steel flooring, and external cladding. Provide a professional level of housekeeping and HSEQ standards. Work safely and efficiently to site safety rules and report any unsafe incidents. Complete accurate maintenance reporting within the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Person Requirements: Qualifications: NEBOSH– Desirable Experience / Skills: Proven knowledge/experience of facilities management/building services management. Experience in managing contracts/facilitating work. Experience in Health and Safety at work and environmental standards. Computer literate and able to operate Microsoft products. Excellent record-keeping techniques with efficient organisation and planning. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to prioritise work and work to strict deadlines. Good understanding of relevant legislation including the Health & Safety at Work Act. Understands and can demonstrate the importance of environmental compliance in the workplace.
