The Role: Farleys is currently looking for an experienced Personal Injury Solicitor to join its busy Claimant team at its East Lancashire office. The successful candidate will manage a mixed caseload of multi track and fast track road traffic accidents, employer's liability and public liability claims, and will be able to demonstrate a track record of commitment to securing justice for injured Claimants. The role will involve taking files from taking initial instructions from the client, litigating as appropriate and then to settlement. This is a hands-on role for someone who can demonstrate a track record of dealing with complex claims, and who will thrive in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Manage a mixed caseload of approximately 150 claimant RTA, EL and PL matters from client contact to settlement. Conduct litigation on 20-30% of files, including both fast and multi-track claims. Draft pleadings, witness statements, schedules and manage disclosure and trial preparation. Provide clear, empathetic client communication and maintain excellent client care standards. Work with fee earners and support staff to meet targets and deadlines. Keep accurate file records and ensure compliance with firm and regulatory procedures. Person Specification: Qualified solicitor with demonstrable experience in claimant personal injury. Strong experience across RTA, EL and PL matters. Comfortable and experienced in handling both fast and multi-track litigation. Strong case management, drafting, and advocacy skills.
