This is a fully remote role, allowing you to work from home every day.
As part of the 2nd line, you’ll collaborate with 1st line operations across Claims, Underwriting, and Distribution to support risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring activities.
You’ll oversee and challenge 1st line risk management processes, controls, and decision-making, especially regarding operational and conduct risks. You’ll help enhance and implement the company’s risk management framework, lead RCSAs, develop risk assessments, and monitor risk appetite with 1st line stakeholders.
You’ll also assist in preparing and delivering risk and compliance reports to senior management, Board committees, and regulatory bodies as needed.
This role offers scope for personal initiative and encourages continuous challenge to improve the risk culture across the business.
Ideal candidates will be experienced Risk professionals from the Financial Services sector, with broad Risk experience across multiple disciplines, including Operational and Conduct Risk. Previous Insurance experience is advantageous but not essential.
You should have experience in developing risk assessments, executing RCSAs, and possess an analytical mindset, curiosity, and eagerness to learn and grow. Excellent communication skills are essential.
