What You Will Do:
: Ensure delivery promises are accurately entered within one week of receipt to maintain operational efficiency.
: Coordinate the timely receipt of 87 of parts for the first car of each schedule by the MRD deadline, ensuring seamless prototype builds.
: Prevent build stoppages and Point of Fit losses for all prototype builds, excluding VB scenarios.
: Arrange on:time shipping collections for prototype parts, prioritising cost:efficient transport modes.
: Negotiate delivery dates with suppliers to support multiple prototype production builds for new products and battery production.
: Collaborate with internal tool rooms and 3D printing operations to secure production slots aligned with prototype build requirements.
What You Will Bring:
: Proven ability to perform under pressure, maintaining accuracy and focus.
: Strong negotiation skills to secure delivery commitments and production slots.
: Excellent presentation skills to effectively communicate programme delivery status to senior management.
: Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word to manage and report on logistics activities.
: GCSE:level education or above, demonstrating a solid foundation for this challenging role.
