What you'll be doing?
Supporting the business and our divisional offices, our Head Office functions cover all departments from our Executive Board through to our support functions such as Group Design and Technical, HR, Health and Safety, IT, Sales and Marketing, Commercial, Procurement, Group Finance, Corporate Affairs, as well as Legal and Company Secretariat. We also have a specialised function – Barratt Partnerships.
Reporting to the Senior Commodity Manager you will assist in all admin tasks required to support procurement input to COINS & Rebate Manager, resource code management and the maintenance, update of Docushare information and manage communication of outputs to internal stakeholders. To manage the group rebate claim and collection process and manage communication of outputs to internal stakeholders.
This is a 12 month FTC for maternity cover.
What will I be responsible for?
* Update supplier price files on COINS
* Ensure Commodity Managers are up to date with approvals
* Administer resource code process (when released by GC)
* Manage rebate claim and collection process
* Manage communication of rebate, COINS and general Group Procurement information to internal stakeholders
* Support commodity managers with tender administration
* Provide system training to divisions periodically (some infrequent travel required)
What You’ll Need
* Good communication skills (at all levels)
* IT literate
* Proficient on Excel
* Basic understanding of procurement function (nice to have)
* Coins experience (nice to have)
* Organised, methodical and detail oriented
* Good general education at GCSE level
Location & Training Requirement
Candidates must live within a reasonable commuting distance of any of the below divisional offices, such as:
* Barratt Manchester — M202YY
* Barratt West Midlands — B633JS
* Barratt Redrow Group Office — LE671UF
* Redrow Tamworth Office — B775PX
In addition, successful candidates will be required to travel to the Barratt Redrow Group Office (LE671UF) at the start of their contract for initial training.
