Join our award-winning Risk team as we enter an exciting phase of growth. We’re looking for talented risk management professionals to shape and safeguard complex Construction and Infrastructure projects across sectors including Transport, Defence, Water, Buildings, and Energy.
Key Responsibilities
* Undertake assurance reviews of risk deliverables and methodologies to confirm conformance to best practice.
* Contribute to developing Business Cases, Investment Decisions and Appraisals, including assuring the quality of risk evidence.
* Work as a consultant within a client environment, embedding risk expertise into client teams.
* Coach, develop and supervise project staff and share knowledge and expertise.
* Build strong relationships with clients, teams, and stakeholders.
* Strong stakeholder management experience.
Candidate specification
Essential
* Demonstrate competency with implementing Risk Management processes aligned with ISO31000 / Institute of Risk Management / Association of Project Management methodologies on complex Construction and Infrastructure projects, including but not limited to:
o Initiating, developing, and implementing risk management processes
o Facilitating risk workshops as part of the overall delivery of the risk process
o Conducting regular risk reviews to maintain a project risk register
o Undertaking Quantitative Cost and Schedule Risk Analysis techniques
o Producing appropriate risk management reports to inform decision making
o Awareness of tools such as ARM, Xactium, Primavera Risk Analysis, SafranRisk, @Risk, Risk Predict
o Understanding how risk management integrates with other Project Management and Project Controls disciplines
o Implementing effective risk management activities to reduce risk exposure and uncertainty
o Supporting development and implementation of risk management approaches for clients
o Facilitating workshops and engaging with project teams to ensure effective risk management
o Working with planners to understand delivery expectations and link risks to schedule activities
Desirable
* Good research and analytical skills
* Excellent oral and written communication and organisation skills
* Essential soft skills: effective listening, persuasion, collaborative style, leadership, flexibility, self-motivation, creativity and insightfulness
* Computer literacy in Microsoft applications
