Proactive Personnel are currently recruiting for a Global Regulatory Documentation Manager for a world leading food ingredient manufacturing company. This is a permanent position based at one of their sites in Burton-on-Trent.
Main purpose of the role
The Global Regulatory Documentation Manager is to provide strategic leadership to the Documentation Scientist team to ensure the delivery of exceptional service to both internal and external customers. Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction, while supporting the ongoing integration and alignment of documentation activities within Givaudan’s systems, processes, and standards.
Responsibilities:
1. Uphold the mission, quality policy, values, and beliefs of the company.
2. Provide strategic leadership and management to the Documentation Scientist team, fostering excellence in customer service, efficiency, and regulatory accuracy.
3. Promote team development through effective coaching, mentoring, and professional growth initiatives to build technical expertise, engagement, and succession within the Documentation function.
4. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across documentation processes to enhance service to internal and external customers and support the evolution of business systems.
5. Assist with the preparation, review, and maintenance of high-quality regulatory documentation and position statements related to Customer requests.
6. Ensure timely and accurate ingredient approvals, application assessments, regulatory troubleshooting, and integration within item nomination and product launch workflows.
7. Supervise global customer documentation, including questionnaires and statements, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance through effective data management and established prioritization guidelines.
8. Monitor and maintain documentation systems such as AskMe, CSI, Vault/Portal, TraceGains, and other relevant platforms, ensuring data integrity and system optimization.
9. Collaborate closely with SCBU teams and colleagues on integration projects to align with corporate standards, regulatory frameworks, and customer expectations.
10. Partner with Regulatory and Quality Managers to provide precise and updated information for customer inquiries and regulatory support, including raw material and supplier data updates for the CSI database.
11. Support SCBU plant Quality Managers to maintain GFSI standards and contribute to continuous improvement efforts globally.
12. Work with Global Quality Managers and the Global Regulatory Director to execute strategic regulatory documentation and quality projects.
13. Actively participate in cross-functional and continuous improvement activities to strengthen global regulatory documentation processes and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
14. Batchelor’s degree in related subject essential
15. Batchelor’s degree in law/regulatory desirable
16. At least 10 years’ experience in related fields with 5 years’ in Regulatory / Quality roles
17. Technical / scientific knowledge in relevant areas
