Job Description
This Interim opportunity will lead the Finance function of the organisation for a period of 4 - 5 months until a Permanent hire is recruited.There is potential that the role could go temp to perm if interested.The Head of Finance will sit on the SLT and will report directly to the CEO.The role will be responsible for;
3. Lead and manage the finance team to ensure effective delivery of financial services.
4. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
5. Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and policies.
6. Complete the monthly reporting cycle.
7. Advise the SLT on Budgets and forecast variences
8. Provide detailed financial analysis and reports to support decision-making.
9. Manage relationships with external auditors and stakeholders.
10. Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
11. Support senior management with strategic financial advice.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Interim Head of Finance should have:
12. A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
13. Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role.
14. Strong technical knowledge of financial regulations and compliance.
15. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
16. Experience in managing and mentoring teams effectively.
17. Proficiency in financial systems and software.
18. The ability to communicate financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.
