City site solutions are looking for Maintenance and Facilities Manager for a project in White city, W12 This is an immediate requirement with a start available Monday 2nd February 2026 Hours: 07.00am – 19.00pm Starting salary: £250 per day Required: Essential: * Fully qualified to current minimum mechanical and/or electrical legislative standards or equivalent * IOSH Health and Safety Trained * L8 Legionella Training * Asbestos Awareness * IPAF Powered Access Licence Preferred: * PASMA * First Aid Trained Work Experience Required: * 3–5 years in mechanical, electrical, or general building maintenance, with expertise in AHUs, FCUs, plumbing, or electrical systems. * Proven experience with Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs, and water hygiene testing (L8 Legionella standards). * Familiarity with operating Building Management Systems (BMS) and handheld PDAs for maintenance tasks. * Experience ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, including RAMS and subcontractor supervision. * Strong customer service skills with a background in stakeholder interaction and independent work in commercial or industrial settings. Role: * Responsible for providing comprehensive day-to-day maintenance and repair services for mechanical, electrical, and general building systems across facilities. * This role involves maintaining plant and fixed assets, supervising specialist subcontractors, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and delivering exceptional service. * The engineer will follow a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule, respond to breakdowns promptly, and undertake minor works, installations, and repairs across various systems. * Flexibility to travel to other sites is required. Key Responsibilities: * Carry out planned preventative, reactive, and condition-based maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and general building systems. * Maintain and repair Air Handling Units (AHUs), Fan Coil Units (FCUs), plumbing systems, toilet facilities, and other mechanical/electrical equipment. * Conduct water hygiene tests and ensure compliance with L8 Legionella standards. * Operate and interrogate Building Management Systems (BMS). * Perform reactive repairs on general building infrastructure, including plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. * Supervise specialist subcontractors, ensuring receipt of necessary documentation and adherence to Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS). * Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, including method statements and risk assessments. * Use computer systems, including handheld PDAs, for maintenance scheduling and reporting. * Assist electrical, mechanical, and air conditioning engineers with tasks as needed. * Develop strong relationships with stakeholders, delivering excellent customer service. * Work independently and demonstrate initiative in addressing maintenance needs. * Participate in out-of-hours and weekend work, to meet operational requirements. * Undertake any other reasonable tasks to support business needs.
